Dreamstate #4

The busy office environment overwhelms me as I wander aimlessly through cubicles, desperately searching for my desk.

Coworkers rush past me busily, papers stacked high in their arms, phones ringing off the hook.

I feel totally lost and disoriented. I have an important presentation first thing in the morning, and now I can’t even find my desk or notes.

The stress is paralyzing.

Suddenly, my manager appears from the crowd and reminds me that everything will be okay.

She tells me that I’m ready for this presentation and that all my hard work will pay off.

As she speaks, I start to notice the exit signs above me, and the pathways between cubicles become more clear.

I take a deep breath and realize I know the way after all.

I just need to calm my mind and trust in my abilities.

This is just my anxiety talking.

When I wake up, I’m still nervous about the presentation but feel more confident.

The dream showed me that anxiety will only hold me back from performing my best.

If I believe in myself, I’ll find my way successfully through this work obligation.
